A PowerPoint Crisis Presentation, appropriate for a Board of Directors, that highlights your crisis plan, lists the impacts that the focus organization will face, and describes how it will mitigate them
Approach
For this assignment you will choose one of two approaches to crisis planning, crisis management or business continuity.
As we know, crisis management is the process by which the focus organization deals with a sudden emergency or disaster
If you choose crisis management, you must develop and submit a Crisis Management Plan for a specific hazard of your choosing
The Crisis Management Plan (CMP) is a tool of the Crisis Management Department. The CMP is an enterprise document that outlines how the focus organization will organize and respond to a specified emergency or disaster. Key components of the CMP include the following:
Describes the nature and characteristics of the emergency or disaster along with its major impacts to the enterprise
Lists the members of the crisis response team via contact list and an organization chart that aligns with the focus organization structure
Along with a list of impacts, the CMP will include all of the things that need to be done, who will do them, when they will be completed and where you will get all of the resources you will need to make it happen
