For your assessed report, you must write a full research report based on the Lexical Decision task data.
To be included: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Methods (Design, Participants, Materials, Procedure, Ethical Considerations), Results and Discussion, References and Appendices. You will also get marks for presentation. Please see Report Rubric (see below) for the weightings of each section and to help guide you on what makes a good report. Also, please see the Assessed Work in Psychology document for guidance on the contents of each section.
Extra information and tips:
Methods: You can include a figure(s) in your methods to help explain the experiment.
Results: If you decide to use a graph of the results, this can be created in SPSS but MUST be edited if included in the results section. Please note you should choose only one method of reporting descriptives.
Appendices: Please include any verbatim instructions referred to in the methods and the printed SPSS output for inferential statistical tests. Please note you do not need to include raw data (this is for level 6 projects). Remember, each appendix should be clearly numbered and titled.
Word limit: 2000 words
Note: References and Appendices do NOT count as part of your word allowance.
