For this assignment you will do a workplace safety assessment. Find a suitable workplace where hazards such as those covered in our assigned readings can occur. Identify the possible hazards, document any safety precautions in place, and any that could be added or enhancements that could be made. You can used photos, but do not use any that identify a particular company (such as signs, logos, uniforms, etc) or a particular individual.
In the Rubric for the Individual Hazard Assessment assignment 80 points are awarded based on the appropriateness of the topic/hazard to the course and alignment with the guidelines in the textbook. There will be a major point deduction for excessive use of quotations to fill the paper by copy/paste/cite to create a paper, no more than 20% should be direct quotes. Ten points are awarded based on grammar and writing style and 5 points are awarded based on APA Style formatting. You may not recycle a paper submitted from a previous course. The paper should be 4 to 8 double spaced pages not including cover pages or reference pages or any photos, graphs or tables. Follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style.
