Too often, accommodations don’t go far enough in meeting the access needs of disabled people. How can we go beyond an accommodations framework to guarantee full access, including to communication, for all disabled people?
What does embodiment have to do with accessibility/access? What do you think about the idea of access needs, especially meeting multiple people’s potentially conflicting access needs in one group or space? Is there a way we can make spaces more inclusive and accessible while also understanding the limits of a one-size-fits-all approach?
