For this assignment, you will analyze the three advertising
examples provided here, making a claim about which type of persuasive appeal is
being used in the ad and what specific elements in the ad
contribute to it being that particular strategy. In the
first ad, there are TWO dominant types.
You should provide a
written paragraph for each ad analysis. The response for each ad should be in a separate paragraph. Each paragraph should be 3-5 sentences or
50-100 words.
In each paragraph, you will locate specific elements of the
ad or specific wording/phrases in the ad that correspond to the
particular persuasive technique being used. If there are other strategies
being used such as camera close-ups or music playing that correspond to a
specific persuasive technique, you may note those as well.
