Students are required to pick a point of research interest and develop a research question. After, students will then gather at least 6 peer-reviewed sources and begin their research project. The research project follows all of the steps listed above in the course goals for thesis structure. Students will need to include: Introduction, Literature Review, Theory, Epistemology or Methods of Research, Results & Analysis and a Conclusion section. Each component of the thesis structure must be included. Additional non-primary sources (i.e., magazine articles, songs, paintings or poetry) can be used to add supportive context to the main theme of the three peer-reviewed articles. Students will write a minimum of 6 pages and no more than 10.
