The Primary Source Paper is due Friday, April 26.
The paper, or essay, should be formatted as follows: 4-6 pages, double-spaced, 12pt Times New Roman font with standard 1-inch margins.
(HINT: This means at least 4 FULL pages of writing. Papers that do not meet/exceed the length requirement will be penalized.)
The paper must have a main argument, or thesis statement, that is supported by your interpretation of primary source documents. (Make sure you are writing about your interpretation and not just historical facts).
The thesis statement must be underlined.
The paper must have introduction and conclusion paragraphs, along with body paragraphs organized by topic.
Papers will be graded using the “Paper Grading Sheet” provided on page 3.
