After watching both documentaries, you will produce a summative analysis that conforms to the questions listed below. You may use material from the book The American Yawp, but you may not use any additional sources outside of the documentaries themselves.
Questions Your Reflection Paper Should Answer:
Who were the Freedom Riders? Who were the Stonewall rioters?
What happened to them on their respective journeys? What were they seeking?
Were they successful in their mission?
What historical legacies did they leave?
What is the historical significance of these Civil Rights participants in US History?
Please structure your essay so that you have an introduction with a clear thesis statement that makes an argument, 3-4 specific examples from each documentary, and a short conclusion.
