My Stance: Sex addiction is not taken as serious as other addiction due to the current over sexualized culture we currently live in esspecailly on the media and socail there has been wide spread of rape culture. which is a culture where sexual violence and abuse is normalised and played down. The only time Sex addiction may seem worse is when the sex addict also has a sexual health diginoses such as a Severe STD/ STI, and even then its the diagnosis not the addiction that makes people judge them more.
