Who is diagnosed with dementia, and what type of dementia do they have?
Would their dementia be categorized as mild or acute?  Does this change throughout the course of the film?
How does the diagnosis affect their family members? Who is the primary caregiver?
Looking at Erikson’s last two stages of Psychosocial Development, how do you see the family members, or even the person diagnosed go through these stages? Are the stages ever reconciled in your opinion, why, or why not?
In your experience with someone diagnosed with dementia; was the level of care given reasonable for the person diagnosed? What could, or should have been done differently in your opinion?
