Word count: 1350-1650 words (roughly five pages, not including bibliography)
Number of sources: 10 academic sources
Prompt: With the final project, you will develop an answer to a research question which will serve as a thesis, and your thesis will be supported through the synthesis of secondary sources, including those used in previous assignments like the bibliography and annotated bibliography.
Your final project may be either a written essay or a recording of a narrated PowerPoint presentation. Your work will be evaluated on the criteria listed in the assignment rubric. Requirements for length and for the number of sources used will vary depending on whether you are working alone, as a pair, or as part of a group, and are listed below.
If writing an essay, use 12 point Times New Roman for the main text and bibliography, 10 point Times New Roman for the footnotes. Main text should be double-spaced, with first line indentation.
The project, in whatever form it takes, will be submitted here. It is due by and closes at 11:59pm Thursday, May 16. Submit written work as either a Word document or a PDF. Submit recorded slide presentations as an MP4 file. The use of other file types or alternative means of submitting your work will result in a 15 point deduction from the overall grade, and may result in a delay in grading your work.
