The Research Paper Proposal (two pages maximum) should consist of two to three paragraphs that
clearly state the topic and the approach that you are going to take. To complete your
proposal, you should have already consulted 2 or 3 scholarly sources (books and peer-reviewed
articles) not listed in the syllabus that you may draw on for your essay, along with any material in our
syllabus which you also intend to utilize.
