After watching the lecture video and reading your required readings for the module, write a post or post a video that addresses 3 of the following 4 prompts in 350 original words or up to 8 mins of audio/video recording:
1/ Your answer to the question about the Kinsey material from the lecture video.
2/ A paragraph on how gay gang members negotiated their identities in light of others’ reactions to them (Panfil chapter)
3/ A consideration of what was said about hate crime laws in the video from the Transgender Law Center and how the main ideas forwarded relate to ideas or perspectives from our class.
4/ An analysis of the experiences outlined on traveling while transgender in light of specific ideas from lecture.
2/Response:
Analyze a student’s post who has not yet been responded to (ideally) in an original post that brings in new ideas from class materials and cites them explicitly (e.g., Swan Module 11 Lecture Video 2024; Panfil 2017: page number). (150-word min). Remember the goal of the response is to continue deepening the discussion by adding new information and sharing your take on the material.
