The final paper must develop a thesis and closely engage a non-Western religious

The final paper must develop a thesis and closely engage a non-Western religious tradition (Native Religion, Jainism, Sikhism, Confucianism, Daoism, or Shinto are also acceptable).
Put the non-Western religious tradition into dialog with the issue of environmental concern.
One paragraph of the paper should be devoted to a description of and the incorporation of your image into your argument. You might discuss why you chose the particular image and how it supports your thesis.
Two paragraphs of the paper should be devoted to comparing and contrasting how the non-Western religious worldview of choice is similar to and different from how a Western religious worldview might treat the issue.
Conclude with a one-paragraph reflection on the ways in which the ecological issue directly pertains to specific values and beliefs within the selected non-Western religious worldview.
Procedure
Revise your 8- to 10-page paper (this count excludes the title page and bibliography).
Use this PACS APA-Formatted Title Page, but replace “Your Final Project Title” with your own unique project title. Replace all elements marked in bold-faced type as well.
Include a reference list at the end of the draft (exclude your annotations). References should include hanging indents.
Use APA in-text citation and reference style.
Use APA formatting for the paper setup as well (page numbers as headers, 12-point font, double-spacing, 1-inch margins, no extra spaces between paragraphs, etc.).
Include your selected image, its attribution, and a one-line description/title (beneath the image). It should take up no more than 1/4 of a page.
See the Instructor Guidelines page for general writing requirements.
Proofread your work prior to submitting it.
Consider the grading rubric when planning your assignment. This assignment is assessed on:
Timeliness
Conformity with all the requirements of the paper
Quality of and critical engagement with the secondary sources
Thematic coherence throughout
Cogency of argumentation
Organization
Writing style, such as overall flow, grammar, and citations
