Identify one issue in your nursing practice where you have facilitated a new policy or change to an existing policy. (Pages 3-5 in your text discuss types of policy. You may consider any of these types, but please use this information as you identify your experience.)
Discuss the setting where you were or are currently working at the time this change was proposed and how your background and experiences (personal and professional) impacted your position on this change.
Discuss why you believe this change was needed, whether you successfully made the policy change, and if not, what you could have done differently. Identify if you used any “evidence” or SBAR to help you prepare your efforts to make this change. Please discuss these concepts in your post. (If you are unfamiliar with SBAR, please review the article in your reading to familiarize yourself with this concept by reviewing the Jurns article.
