A vacation rental company was founded in 2007 by two roommates in San Francisco who were broke and looking for ways to raise money to pay rent. They came up with a creative idea to rent air mattresses in their apartment when the conference attendees booked all of the hotel rooms in the area. Making people feel welcome lies at the heart of the vacation rental culture.
The mission statement of any organization is what sets it apart from the competition. The vacation rental company’s mission is to provide travelers with authentic experiences and foster a sense of belonging anywhere in a community of like-minded individuals.
As a customer service professional, you will also need to plan the strategies for creating a positive service culture.
This can be done by partnering with customers, exploring the organization’s vision, and promoting ethical behavior throughout the organization.
Some other ideas to think about might be to improve your service skills. This can be done by demonstrating commitment, sharing resources, and working with customers to ensure satisfaction.
