50g-short-long.mp4 : 50g is first attached to the spring. 1st half of the video gets the spring oscillating by attaching 10g, stretching (short stretch) the spring further, and then releasing the 10g. 2nd half of the video gets the spring oscillating by attaching 50g, stretching the spring further, and then releasing the 50g.
100g-short-long.mp4 : 100g is first attached to the spring. 1st half of the video gets the spring oscillating by attaching 20g, stretching (short stretch) the spring further, and then releasing the 20g. 2nd half of the video gets the spring oscillating by attaching 50g, stretching the spring further, and then releasing the 50g.

All files were recorded at 30fps.
I removed the laser from this half of the experiment, because it served no purpose at 30fps.  It is easier to look either look at the movement of the oscillation when the spring gets towards the bottom, or just pick a fixed point, and a reference/constant point on the oscillating system.
You can either imitate what you’d do if you did the experiment live, meaning, let it bounce for each case, 20 case, keep track of time and oscillations.  Or, analyze the  video using avidemux (https://avidemux.sourceforge.net/), frame by frame, and get an exact period for each case.  Rather than using a middle point in the cycle, pick the bottom portion, and pinpoint the two frames where the direction changes.
Use the Simple Pendulum write up as a template for the Oscillating Spring write up.  The main differences are the theoretical equation, but the concepts are the same.  In addition, for the oscillating spring there was an extra initial step to calculate the value of k.  AGAIN, DO NOT CONFUSE THE STRETCHED DISTANCE (X) WHEN CALCULATING K = m*g / X, WITH THE STRETCH (SHORT/LONG) TO GET THE OSCILLATION GOING!
