An important part of being an effective manager is the performance evaluation process. The module resources this week discuss some of the complications with using employee metrics. You will also read about making the performance evaluation process more meaningful and effective. After reading the resources, think about your last formal or informal performance evaluation (it could be a school-related evaluation).
In your initial post, describe the evaluation and respond to all the following prompts:
How did you feel walking out of that meeting with your manager or professor?
Was it meaningful and effective?
Did you have a clear understanding of your performance?
Did you understand your goals and objectives?
Consider the ideas discussed in the module resources:
