Your paper should take the form of a) an expanded state-of-the art literature review, b) a comparative analysis/synthesis of existing research, c) a research proposal, or d) an original empirical research paper. You should be clear about which kind of paper you want to write early in the semester. If you are unclear about the difference between these formats, I can share examples of each.
