I am a Hispanic male borne here in the FL. with roots that hail from mexico.
Being hispanic this background influences me with strong beliefs, drive, and ambition. Spanish was my first language, and learning english around the age of 8, now I am bilingual and still speak fluent spanish, I knew I was mexican at a very early age and honestly did not feel anything different. As far as customs and marital roles in the hispanic culture it is custom for the wives to cook, clean, and do all home actions while the males work all day, however my wife and I do not abide by that culture setting. We both cook, clean and share the household together. Being a hispanic it is often assumed that I am a catholic when in reality I am actually pagan.
Other cultures that I have come into contact within my region where I live are african americans and other hispanics like cubans, and puerto ricans.
