Then, after gathering additional articles on your potential areas of interest, you will practice synthesizing your findings by writing a short paper. This important exercise will help you determine your current skill level and recognize what kind of help you may need as you move forward along your doctoral study journey. To prepare:
Go back to the Module 1 Discussion and take note of the three articles you found that address potential areas of interest for your own research.
Extend the search from Module 1 to include another three articles about the topic and problem.
Add these three new articles to your Zotero library.
Using all six articles, and the criteria listed, write and submit a 5-page paper in which you effectively synthesize the evidence you wish to present.
Write a 5-page paper based on the articles you found. When writing, be sure to:
Provide the background of the potential topic and a discussion about the problem.
Effectively synthesize the evidence from the articles you located.
Apply the MEAL plan writing strategy that was introduced in the Learning Resources from Module 2.
