Your paper will need to analyze three concrete examples of the type of multimoda

Your paper will need to analyze three concrete examples of the type of multimodal format you would like to produce for your final project. Your examples should be concrete and be models for what you would like to accomplish this term. Your analysis should describe the structure of each example in detail, analyze how each example makes choices that are shaped by their audience and purpose, and compare and contrast your examples to highlight how each makes different choices based on its audience and purpose. Include a very brief introduction and conclusion that discusses what we can learn about your multimodal format given the three examples.
General Guidelines
This assignment will build on the work you did in this week’s discussion board and the Form Analysis Paper. You will first need to choose the multimodal format you want to create for your final multimodal project.
1. Choose a multimodal format for your final project —> I have chosen to do a scientific poster (im not sure if this is needed but here is an example https://ur.umbc.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/354/2016/06/arisHannahSm.pdf)
2. Find three concrete examples on which you would like to model your project —> here is the concrete example definition: Concrete/specific/real-world examples are singular and describable objects, things, items, etc. These are things you can describe in a quite a bit of detail and describe fully because you can see them and because they are not abstract. They can be things you can print or photograph, like a specific social media post from a specific account on a specific day, or things you can drop on your foot, like a specific copy of a specific book on your shelf. They can be tangible/material/real objects in the world, items, or singularities online, or moments in time. For example: “a dog” isn’t yet concrete or specific, even if this sounds singular it’s still conceptual and a category. Bernard (Bear), my 78lb labrador and golden mix, is a concrete example of a dog. I could write many paragraphs describing him in excruciating detail because he exists in the singular.
3. Make sure your examples are specific and model what you would like to accomplish this term.
Here are some examples and tips:
If you would like to make a scientific poster, make sure your examples are concrete like this one about chicken litter and nutrients. Avoid using websites that teach you how to make a scientific poster as your examples (though of course these websites can be very helpful, just not as examples)
Grading
To receive a complete grade, your essay must: be 2+ properly formatted pages and focused on 3 concrete examples on which you will model your multimodal final project
describe each example in detail and analyze each focusing on form, structure, and audience
compare and contrast the examples to show what they all share and how they differ based on audience and purpose
include a reference list with citations that include hyperlinks (any style- we will cover citation next week). I have attached the rubric in a file.
