Effective leaders have a clear vision of where they want to be, and possess the personal fortitude to persevere despite the numerous roadblocks they encounter along the way. The greatest leaders will push on even when those around them have doubts. They demonstrate that the seemingly impossible is possible, inspiring others to dream bigger and reach further.

There are numerous videos and movies exemplifying perseverance, the overcoming of adversity, and living a virtuous life. Examples include Greater, Rudy, Miracle, The Pursuit of Happyness, Remember the Titans, to name a few. Select two movies that inspire you.
Write a paper that incorporates the lessons learned in each movie that are applicable to your role as an effective leader. What positive traits are exemplified? What obstacles did the character(s) encounter and how were they overcome? Describe any challenge(s) you’ve had to overcome in your personal, scholastic or professional life, and what inspired you to persevere.
