PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING
I’ve placed a few orders before and have noticed some of the bidders have overlooked or not fully read and understood what exactly was requesting to be done.
Please let me know if you need anything from me, and I ask that if you completed the order before the due date, please let me have a look so I can check to see if there is any revisions that needs to be done or if by late minute, the instructions to the assignment has changed. I would like to give you enough time to do any revisions, if I see any happen to come up.

Discussion #1: Texas’s Political Culture
REMEMBER: You must post your response before viewing your classmates’ responses. If you submit a blank or incomplete response, I will grade that as your only submission even if you add information in subsequent submissions. Be sure to ALWAYS include source information (textbook page number, URL addresses, etc.) with your response. I will count off at least one point if you don’t cite your sources. (No formal citation is needed. Just give the source name and page number or include the link if you’ve gotten your information from the internet.)
So . . .
Please watch this short clip from the movie Bernie: (This movie, released in 2011, is a comedic account of a real life tragedy that occurred in Carthage, Texas, in 1996. The scene adds humor to the movie, but it also makes a statement about one facet of Texas culture.)

Then this video: (This is for more serious contemplation . . . )

Then, read this review of demographer Steve Murdock’s study Changing Texas: Implications of Addressing or Ignoring the Texas Challenge.”

Now the writing portion of this discussion:
1. Please explain, in your own words, a facet of Texas culture that is explored in these three assigned works. Focus on an idea that occurs in all three. Use one direct quotation (with quotation marks and a parenthetical or textual reference) from each of the three reading/viewing assignments here. In other words, quote from each source, and be sure to say, either in your sentence or in parentheses, from which source you’re quoting.
Please limit your response to five or six well-written, complex sentences. (18 points)
2. Also, respond (with a pertinent, substantive statement) to at least one classmate! (1 point)
3. Cite your sources! (1 point)
