Scenario/Summary
Sarah, a
28-year-old female athlete, presents to the emergency

Scenario/Summary
Sarah, a
28-year-old female athlete, presents to the emergency department complaining of
severe pain over the anterolateral aspect of her right leg, radiating down
toward the ankle. She reports that the symptoms started after an intense
workout session at the gym, during which she focused on weightlifting exercises
involving her legs. Sarah describes the pain as deep and throbbing, exacerbated
by movement and relieved only slightly by rest. On examination, her right lower
leg appears visibly swollen and tense, with increased pain upon passive
dorsiflexion of the foot.
