I do need help on the analysis of data of the items of pauses, hesitations, and use of visual on a speaking evaluation. I do have some problems with the item of pauses and hesitations, so i need an improvement on the rubric evaluation or find a way in which I can analyse that data information in the best way. So far, I believe the most difficult part for me has been the criteria of hesitations. The thing is that I consider the rubric on that aspect is not well developed. For example, I have a student who has only one hesitation, in the rubric that’s considered something positive; however, that student only said a couple of words in less than 2 seconds. On the other hand, I have another student who had 12 hesitations but his length of speech was longer and his ideas were clearer;however, in the rubric 12 hesitations is considered to be something negative. How can I analyse that data to make it coherent?  In the analysis both data (pause and hesitations) can be compared. I have data provided by Elsa Speak (light pink) and Audacity (blue light).
