Instructions
1. Re-visit Pixar’s Story Beats. (Attatched for reference)
2. Take notice: Structurally, the story beats resemble a narrative arcLinks to an external site..
3. Create a fictional (made-up) story about fear that is EIGHT SENTENCES long. Each sentence will offer one story beat, per the Pixar list. (Ignore the moral-of-the-story part; it’s part of the “Ever since then….”)
4. I am asking you to write about FEAR after you read Cohen’s article (attached for reference) to give you the opportunity to borrow one of his ideas. If you do–and it’s not required–you need to cite it. Do so at the end of the 8-sentence story.
5. Organize your story into a numbered list of 8 sentences, just like the Pixar Story Beats.
