Summary of what the literature says for each topic (5-7 paragraphs)

(As explained in the syllabus and assignment, your topic can come from what your major is and what you hope to do when you graduate college. I also have an example in Week 12 Folder. You can choose a hot topic in society that correlates to anything that stands out to you and creates challenges for the members of that society. You may also decide you want to pick one topic that you are sure of and don’t need to submit 3.

Either topic is fine if you can find ways to connect that to the sociological concepts in this course. You have to utilize 3 sociological concepts: functional/conflict/interactional (first few chapters in text) There are many avenues to explore either topic.
