Down below I have provided you with the instructions. You will need to strictly stick to the instructions. I have already chose the story for you and will provide the link down below so you can read through the short story online. You should have no problem copying and pasting the link into a search bar and reading the story. If so, please let me know. I have also provided a simliar citation for the story you will be reading. You will still need to add the title of the story to the citation down below. The citation is not correct without you inserting the title correctly to the MLA style format. Please keep that in mind. I have also provided notes and in those notes you will find the elements that can be used within the paper. Please look at Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 carefully. This will walk you through the structure of how the paper should be set up. Use good transitions as well, as it will make the paper flow better. In the instructions it also says to provide a brief summary. This is NOT a paper over just summarizing the story. It needs to be writtien in third person, present tense. Do NOT use any outside sources and cite them in your paper! You can look up additional information to help you with “Part 1 and Part 2,” but do not take any direct lines from a website and put it into the paper. You can simply paraphrase. I will be polishing the paper. Therefore, you do not need “5 secondary scholarly sources.” I have that part covered. Do not go out of your way to find sources, simply read and write, staying with in the instruction guidelines. Also, cite specific quotes or texts from the short story you read. As long as you correctly stay true to the MLA citation rules. ”   (King 3).   ” If you pull a text from the story, which you should multiple times when you talk about it throughout the paper when showing evidence of the point you are trying to make, it must include the authour’s last name and page you found it from.
