Michelle Alexander’s book is basically a long argument that uses quite a few rhetorical devices and strategies. Write an essay that answers the following question: Which rhetorical device(s) or strategy (or strategies like the use of ethos, logos, and pathos) is most fundamental to Alexander’s argument? Make sure to provide many clear examples of the strategy or strategies you are writing about.
