So this location is an on-ramp and it has two lanes and one carpool lane making it three lanes.
Also, the lane next to the carpool merges together after the light.
The problem is that no sign tells cars that the lanes will merge nor there is road striping showing merge lanes therefore accidents happen.
The first solution is to make the road striping show merge lanes and also add signs of merge lanes.
The second option is making the road wider and canceling the merge lanes.
