Additionally, review the originality report that you receive and make any necessary changes before you submit your final copy.
You may submit multiple copies before the deadline. The most recent submission will be graded. Any work that is not properly submitted will not earn credit. It is important that you submit the paper as early as possible to avoid last-minute issues.  
This Final Draft builds upon information that you have received and work that you have submitted, such as the Week 4 Discussion, Week 5 Literary Research Outline, Week 6 Research Sample #1 and #2, and Research Draft. You will continue to use the same story/poem and sources that you utilized in the Outline and Draft. 
Literary Research Paper Requirements 
1. Apply a literary analysis to a selected work of literature from the Module readings. (Study the provided sample essays.) 
2. Provide structure through the use of a thesis statement that reflects the essay’s scope and purpose, as well as body paragraph topic sentences that support the thesis. 
3. Write the essay in an academic tone, including third person language. Avoid first (I, me, my, we, us, our) and second (you, your) person language. 
4. Carefully follow MLA 9 Format requirements, including general page format, in-text citations (for paraphrased, summarized, and quoted source information), and a Works Cited page. 
5. Utilize at least five (5+) scholarly sources, such as books and articles authored by relevant, credible individuals and organizations. Each source must be utilized within the essay (including in-text citations) and listed on the Works Cited page. 
6. Meet the minimum Word count of 1,500 words (or more) and do not exceed the maximum word count of 1,800 words. (This word length should be met before/without the Works Cited list.)
7. Remember that a “proper submission” includes an upload of a MS Word or PDF document (only) before the due date and time. Files in other formats will not be considered “properly submitted” and will not earn credit. 
8. Apply the feedback that you received on the Research Outline.
