A final task in planning the evaluation study is describing how it will be carried out. A management plan is essential to help in overseeing the project. Who will do what? How much will it cost? What are critical milestones? What is the time line or schedule of events?
There are four main components in the evaluation management plan:
Evaluation Gantt chart (timeline) – This is about creating an implementation timetable for your evaluation plan. This chart should relate the tasks of the study to the time frames in which all tasks will be completed.
Evaluation budget – This is about identifying the evaluation costs to be included in the budget. This budget should describe items for different types of personnel, fringe benefits, computer costs, printing and duplicating, transcribing, supplies, telecommunications, equipment, software, travel, and indirect costs
Report outline – This is an optional component. This outline will illustrate what components you will include in your final report after conducting the evaluation. It is a part of final project’s Appendices section.
Resumes and Human subjects protection training certificates for every member of the evaluation team. This is also a part of final project’s Appendices.
