will need to write on the following pair of poems, in which you will compare
and contrast the poems in detail. You should discuss and link the form and
style of the poems with their content and themes.
When analysing and writing on the poems, think
about them in relation to the different aspects of poetry covered in the
lectures and seminars. You are not obliged to discuss every dimension of poetry
that we have covered in the second half of the module, just those which you
consider important in your analysis of the poems.
You are strongly encouraged to use a dictionary
