Description
This reflective journal project aims to enhance critical thinking, research skills, and reflection on course materials. Throughout the semester, you will submit biweekly reflective journals/drafts, contributing to a final compiled booklet. The journals/drafts will focus on critiquing and expanding upon prompts initiated by the instructor. These prompts will ask you to explore various aspects of the course materials. You are encouraged to compare information obtained from ChatGPT with your textbooks and reflect on the insights gained.
Each journal entry should be written as a comparative analysis where you compare and contrast the information obtained from ChatGPT with that found in the textbooks. This process aims to highlight differences, similarities, and potential biases, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter. You are expected to engage in critical reflection, offering your personal insights, opinions, and questions arising from the comparative analysis. This will allow you to connect the information to your own understanding and experiences, promoting a deeper level of comprehension. The reflective entries should continue to be grounded in evidence and researched data. This entails incorporating in-text citations and creating a bibliography at the end.
After receiving feedback on each biweekly submission, you will have the opportunity to revise and improve your journal entries. This iterative process encourages continuous learning and refinement of analytical and reflective skills. Towards the end of the semester, you will compile all you revised journal entries into a final booklet. This compilation serves as a comprehensive reflection on the topics covered throughout the course, showcasing the evolution of your thoughts and insights.
Grading Criteria
•    Improvement shown in revised entries (40%).
•    Design, organization, and coherence of the final compiled booklet (30%).
•    Quality of physical booklet (30%)
