What is each study telling us about animal behavior, and what can we learn by comparing these two sources that we wouldn’t understand by analyzing each separately? You have two minutes to make your case and one minute to answer questions!
Rubric
(1 pt) Does the student clearly communicate the take-home message from Paper 1?
(1 pt) Does the student clearly communicate the take-home message from Paper 2?
(2 pts) Does the student convincingly argue a synthesis statement based on the two sources?
(1 pt) Does the student effectively use graphics to illustrate their synthesis?
Additional Notes
– I will be providing an attached file titled “Completed Synthesis Essay” that includes my completed synthesis essay. You will use this essay to make the powerpoint slide and answer the questions above.
– The “two required sources” I’ve listed are the two peer-reviewed articles I used to complete my synthesis essay
– When creating this slide please keep in mind that my presentation is to be 2 minutes long
– **IMPORTANT**I have very little understanding in the topic of Animal Science and Animal Behavior so when creating this slide please keep in mind that the information needs to be understandable to me so that I can present it correctly and effectively to my class and professor.
– PLEASE AVOID USING OVERLY TECHNICAL JARGON
