I am writing my master’s thesis, and I am stuck in the discussion part. It seems that I have everything and references, but I just summarized the results instead of discussing them, so I need help with rewriting it.
The structure is: (marked is the one I need help with)
– Short Summary (review)
– Helping factors (+existing literature) (need help with this)
– Hindering factors (+ existing literature) (need help with this)
– Practical implications. ( I can do)
– Limitations and strengths (review, add answer to why if in some part I missed it)
– Future research (done)
– Summary
What I would need help with:
I need help with the part where discuss the results and compare them with the existing literature. As I mentioned, I think I have everything there, but it needs more of a discussion than a summary.
– Limitations and strenghts: I have most of the things, but I would need to explain better why they are limitations. Limitations: I have to explain more in which way and how, e.g., how the author’s background could affect the result.. – Basically, limitations and strengths and see that they have the answer to why.
The number of pages with everything excluding the reference list should be around 10-15 with double-row spacing (APA 7).
I also separated the reference list for discussion so it is easier to navigate, what I used there.
