Assignment Introduction:
You are the administrator for a primary care practice. You have been asked to create a policy evaluating preventive medicine and how to deliver standard of care for the transgender patient population. Your policy will address screening protocols for one of the following:
Cervical cancer screening
Breast cancer screening
Prostate screening
Assignment Directions:
In your 1-2 page policy, you will:
Define preventative medicine and provide examples
Outline an overall plan for delivering standard of care to transgender patients.
Select one of the three health screenings and outline the protocol for screening tests recommended for transgender patients.
Outline the role of sensitivity to encourage transgender patients seeking preventative care.
Use the above bullet points as headings in your policy. Write 1-2 paragraphs for each heading.
Minimum Submission Requirements
