Select and read two (2) current scholarly research articles (an article on Health Care Disparities that was published within the last 5 years in a peer reviewed journal). Step 2
After reading the article, write a one page, double-spaced, analysis that addresses the following:
Provide a brief discussion of your findings within the article. The following questions represent the type of information you might want to cover as part of your review:
What was your reaction to the article?
What limitations, if any, were present in the research (e.g., low response rates)?
Was the sampling technique/size used effective for this study?
Were there any obvious biases?
What effects of racial or ethnic disparities were identified in the article?
As a nurse in practice, what specific actions can you take to address these disparities in the clinical setting?
What kinds of healthcare policy changes could be implemented on your floor to address these disparities?
