Overview: This course examines health promotion across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Emphasis is placed upon health and environmental patterns that promote or interfere with health attainment and risk reduction in the identified populations. The role of the nurse is multifaceted and includes a significant amount of client teaching. This assignment allows students to develop a teaching plan promoting health and wellness for specific populations and age groups. Each individual will create a PowerPoint presentation, or poster presentation that contains the elements listed below. Presentations must be submitted on the due date and time.
