Objective: The Constitution begins with the famous three-word phrase, “We the People.” This implies that all citizens are entitled to the rights and freedoms spelled out in the Constitution. Since the 14th Amendment gives us our citizenship as soon as we are born, students have Constitutional rights, too. The Supreme Court has taken a nuanced view of student rights, however. For this project, we will explore 26 court rulings that affect you as a student.
