well-documented, wrongful conviction case that was presented in the media. For this reflection
paper, you should:
1. State the case and give a summary about it
2. Why you selected this case
3. Relation to class material
4. Your reflection on the case. You can skip ahead to different topics if your
case relates to it. Give your personal opinion on the case, why do you think it
happened (i.e., how do you feel about it? etc.)
Format: Format: The paper should be typed, double spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font,
3- to 5-pages long, and prepared in APA format. You will submit it online in D2L. Make sure
you include a link to the case you selected in your References list. Make sure to check the
grading rubric for how you will be graded.
Late Penalty: Late assignments will be penalized at a rate of 5% of the assignment value per
day. In the interest of being fair to all students, there will be no grace period. Therefore, a
document submitted 1 minute after the deadline will be considered late. Therefore, it is strongly
recommended that you upload and submit the document prior to the last few minutes before the
deadline.
