Within each group, each person must select a topic that no one else has selected. (The group spaces within eCourses/Canvas will facilitate discussions among your group members to pre-determine topic selection.)
Each person must then use the following questions to develop a qualitative research study related to the topic they selected:
Who might be your informant(s)? Consider multiple levels of informants.
What settings might you observe? How often, how, and why?
Who might you interview? How often and why?
What other sources might be available as data (think deeply)? Consider documents, including correspondence, policies, photos, and other materials.
Are there any ‘things’ you would want to catalog or describe?
Respond to each person in your group by asking a clarifying question about the study that person developed.
